Professional Bio
Alba Ortiz Reyes is an aspiring filmmaker and recent graduate of Full Sail University's Film Production Masters Degree (MFA). She obtained her Bachelors Degree from Sunkyungkwan University in South Korea majoring in Digital Media Production Communications and Film Studies.
Promptly after starting her degree she went on to intern at one of S. Korea’s top broadcast stations SBS. She started as an Office Assistant and worked her way up to become the youngest Floor Director in the Variety Show Department. She also worked on other departments; such as the Drama Department and the Music Show Department. She moved to the United States in 2013, and in 2015 began her studies at Full Sail.
Since starting at Full Sail University, she has worked towards being more active in the production departments, as her main interests lie in the pre-production and production aspects of filmmaking. She would love to become a producer one day, but for now she aspires to work in the industry as an Assistant Director or Unit Production Manager.
